This project involved the construction of a Garden Room to the rear of a terraced property in the Murrayfield area of Edinburgh.<\/span><\/p>\n The garden room was constructed to tie in with the existing building involving a lot of stone, lead and slate work. The existing dining room and kitchen had the structural partition wall removed and this was connected to the new lower garden by opening up the dining room window and forming steps. A new shower room and kitchen were also installed and the utility room upgraded. A terrace and steps allowed the transition from the garden room to the garden.<\/span><\/p>\n The works have produced a stunning contemporary look within a traditional house.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
