Archerfield Estates required a timber constructed over a man-made Lochan (Large Pond). We were contacted by James Clydesdale and Associates to agree a method of installation/construction.
Originally the bridge was to be supported on Steel beams but we located 2nd hand laminated beams that had been carefully dismantled from an old Hospital building in Midlothian. The beams were craned over the Lochan and we constructed a timber bridge on top including wider deck area for viewing the water and associated paths.
